Online shopping....

Am so addicted with online shopping.
Now you know why i don't shop in SG malls.
Because i'm so lazy to walk around and browse in the malls.
I rather spend the same amount of time lazing at home, taking my own sweet time choosing and surfing the shopping site

And best thing is.... no promoters or sales associates trying to hard sell their products/items to me!

And best best thing is.....i can have all my items deliver to my doorstep!
Save the hassle from carrying all the shopping bags back to my home.. LOL
And certain products with min. spending will get shipping for FREE.
So i can save on that too. 
How nice is that.

Anyway, my one-and-only favourite shopping site is QOO10.SG, previously known as GMARKET
Before i started shopping in this site, i remembered seeing people posting in forums asking if this site is safe or reliable.

For me, this site was actually recommended by a few of my friends, and after i reading many good reviews about it, i felt quite safe with it.
Besides, i have been shopping for years, and i have been recommending my friends and families too.

Unfortunately, my dad is in an opposition party.
Until now, he still disagrees & disapproved with me shopping online.

I think he's kinda worried that i will get cheated by the sellers' online.

But eventhough my dad still disagrees with me but he doesn't say much about it anymore.

I think he is giving up on me already? Hahaha..

And of course, i understand where he's coming from lah

I know there're still people out there feeling uncomfortable making payment first before receiving the items, or feel unsafe entering card details online, or some has no patience waiting for their items to arrive but that's the cons' of shopping online.

So anyway, lazy bums like me, really prefers to sit down and relax at home and shop. 

And I can't even remember how much i have been spending in this shopping site over the years?
Probably thousandsss? LOL.

Solo Traveler....

I just found out that my buddy is setting off to Taiwan next week!

And the awesome thing is... he is travelling alone!

Omg, how wonderful is that, makes me deadly envious.

Haha... Seriously! How i wish i can be like him as well.

Anyway, travelling alone is very common, it's a growing trend now

You will get to meet new people and other travelers and make more friends!

Other than meeting amazing people in a different country, you will also get an overwhelming sense of absolute freedom & satisfaction! Since you don't have to fit into a group's agenda, give explanations or disappoint anyone, you can follow your rhythm, desires and move like the wind! And traveling alone also challenges your fears and insecurities too.

Oh well, in case y'all are wondering why i'm posting all the good points about traveling solo, actually one of my unspoken resolution in my life is to travel alone too!

So i'm secretly hoping I can achieve this before i hit 30!

FIFA World Cup 2014

This upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup will be the 20th FIFA World Cup!

So this world cup fever is coming back this year 12 June and is taking place in Brasil !
It's been a good 4 years since the last world cup in South Africa.

And everyone is anticipating it!
Though i'm not a world cup fan, but i bet people are going to burn their midnight oil watching it!
Many late nights betting, drinking and watching.
Haha.

So i went to google-ed the Prize Money for the Champion.
And holy shit.
Guess what?

The Champion Team in 2010 walked away with US$30 million!
And this year they increased the prize money!
This year's Champion Team will get to walk away US$32.44 million !

Yes.. you read it !

Wow... that's alot of money okay

Imagined if you convert that to SGD... *drools*

Anyway in case you're wondering, 2010 World Cup Champion's was Spain
Though many people were hoping Germany will win lolll

Let's all sit back and enjoy the shows and see if they could win the title this year

What's so good about instagram?

Until now i still don't really understand.

Believe it or not, i don't own a/an instagram account up till today.
b'coz i don't wish to. 

First, it was friendster, then facebook and now instagram.
Social networking is changing everybody's life.

Everyone is into social networking.
Uploading pictures, updating status messages, liking different posts, adding and deleting people.

I agreed that social sites keep people together, get us updated about news and people around us.
But who really cares about catching up now?
Nobody bothers to remember relatives & friends' birthday b'coz we have FB reminders now
Nobody bothers to email or call for invitation b'coz we have FB invitations now.
Is this what we want?

At least not me.

I'm really really not a social networking frenzy..
I really sucks at social network, b'coz i still prefer telephones, emails and blogs.

And.... i'm low profile lah!
Prefer to stay low, don't wanna have strangers out there to check out my profile and stare at my pictures..
Hahaha.
